This July 3rd BOOM! will launch for the 28th time with this year's new show debuting at Veteran's Memorial, featuring great new views, dynamic pyrotechnics, live bands, food and fun. to listen to 97.9 for traffic updates to and from BOOM!

NEW LOCATION! Food and novelty concessions open on Washington Boulevard
The midway is the best place to find hundreds of food
vendors, games and inflatables transforming Washington
Boulevard into a street carnival.
NEW VENUE! Long Street opens
This
area, located by North Bank Park, will be filled with
vendors, an entertainment stage, and the WNCI BOOM! Central. Plus, it's a great place to view the
fireworks!

Macy's Children's
Park presented by Columbia Gas and COSI opens at Battelle Park
Red, White & BOOM! is once again bringing back Children's Park presented by Columbia Gas and COSI located in Battelle Park. Children's Park will feature a wide range of interactive and educational programming as well as Millennium Mobile DJ. Thousands of children, moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas
flock to Children's Park. Fun games, educational activities, face painting and more keep children entertained for
hours.

from the Blue Jackets and Columbus Crew.

NBC 4 presents Red, White & BOOM! in High Definition from 9-11
p.m. on NBC 4. Starting at 5:00 p.m. join Cabot Rea, Colleen Marshall,
Mike Jackson, and Amy Basista. Plus look for Jym Ganahl and Jerod
Smalley along the downtown riverfront.

NEW LOCATION! AEP Independence Day Parade presented by Saturn of Columbus
The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. on Broad Street
at COSI heading east and marches north on

The best Independence Day fireworks celebration in the Midwest will
be shot from Veteran's Memorial on the
north side of Broad Street. Tune in to NBC 4 and WNCI 97.9 for LIVE
coverage of the Red, White & BOOM! festivities starting at 9:00
p.m. and concluding at 11:00 p.m. Simulcast of the WNCI 97.9 specially
produced soundtrack will be covered on NBC 4 and WNCI 97.9 at 10:00
